What is the Anglican Church?
Ancient Beauty in Worship
At Church of the Resurrection, worship is a bridge between the timeless and the present. Rooted in the Anglican tradition, our services are steeped in sacred beauty—incense wafts gently through the air, candles flicker on the altar, and the rhythm of prayer and Scripture draws us into God’s presence. Expect rich liturgy shaped by the Book of Common Prayer, the chanting of psalms, and Holy Communion offered weekly. Whether you’re familiar with liturgical worship or exploring it for the first time, you’ll be guided every step of the way as we join together in glorifying God.
A Welcoming Community
Our worship is not just reverent—it’s relational. You’ll find a community eager to greet you with warmth and sincerity, whether you’re stepping into a church for the first time or returning after years away. Children are welcome to participate fully, and their joyful noise is seen as an offering to God. We also have a nursery staffed with Ministry Safe employees and a Children's Chapel for discipleship for our children. After the service, you’ll have the chance to connect over an evening meal, ask questions, and discover how our parish can support you in your spiritual journey. At Church of the Resurrection, you’re not just attending worship—you’re becoming part of a family.

Anglican Worship Distinctives
The Anglican way of following Christ is actually the third largest Christian tradition worldwide, with over 90 million Christians worshiping Jesus together each week. While we are firmly planted in the doctrines of the Reformation, our worship is grounded in experiencing Christ with all of our senses. We recite liturgy because it reminds us each week that all of our voices are important for worship. We are able to recall the truths of God and the Bible together in formative ways.
